The Responsible Purchasing department provides programming, services, and tools to suppliers and campus-wide purchasers and decision makers. Surplus Management, which houses Stanford’s Reuse program for secondhand furniture and equipment, contributes to the university’s climate and zero waste goals by reducing material sent to landfill and the need to purchase new items.
