Earth Month 2023

Five students lined up at booth outside on Stanford campus

Earth Week 2023 at Stanford: Celebrating Sustainability Together

Earth Week 2023 at Stanford was an engaging and inspiring celebration of our commitment to sustainability. We kicked things off with “Sustainabili-tea” at Stanford Redwood City, where folks sipped tea and swapped eco-tips. The virtual event “Playbooks for Progress” shared tasty, climate-smart dining hacks, while Conservation Service Day at the Arizona Cactus Garden had volunteers getting their hands dirty for a greener campus.

Thursday was packed with the Earth Day Dialogues, where Stanford’s experts discussed all things climate, and another round of Sustainabili-tea at Meyer Green with free boba. The Stanford Health Care Earth Day Fair on Friday showcased eco-friendly health tips, and the Water Conservation 101 webinar was a splash with practical water-saving advice.

The highlight was the EarthTones Environmental Justice Festival at the Stanford Educational Farm, a day of music, art, and activism. We wrapped up the week with “Sustainability Through Art” at the Cantor Arts Center, blending creativity with eco-consciousness. Earth Week 2023 was all about fun, learning, and making a positive impact.
