Sustainable Stanford is reimagining the My Cardinal Green platform. The portal to submit actions for rewards closed on July 28 2023. By August 14 2023, all submitted actions will be reviewed, and participants who have reached enough points to receive an award will be given their prize by the start of fall quarter.
To Participate
Notice: We are reimagining the platform.
Thank you to all My Cardinal Green participants for making Stanford a greener campus! Stay tuned for exciting updates as Sustainable Stanford works to reimagine My Cardinal Green in a new and improved format.
As of Friday, June 30, the sign-up form will be closed to new participants.
Friday, July 28 is the last day to submit actions for earning points.
By August 14, all submitted actions will be reviewed, and participants who have reached enough points to receive an award will be given their prize by the start of fall quarter.
Users are asked to re-take the sustainability behaviors survey annually every January. With the revamping of this program, we will be designing a new survey for users. This allows program administrators to understand how participants have changed over time, and provides updates about your role and life on campus to more accurately target your suggested sustainable actions.
To Receive a Reward
Participants who have earned 100 points through actions completed by July 28 2023, are eligible to receive a reward of their choice—a $75 reward ($250 for building managers), or either a sustainability-enhancing item or experience or a charitable donation equivalent to that amount.
Who Can Participate
To log in to the My Cardinal Green platform you must have a valid SUNet ID and be either an enrolled student or full- or part-time staff of the university, Stanford Hospital, or SLAC. At this time, the platform is not open to contracted workers, bargaining unit employees, or new users. As of June 30 2023, the sign-up form is closed to new My Cardinal Green users. Existing users may log in and submit actions until July 28 2023.
