Stanford’s Travel/Study programs are leading a quiet revolution in climate-conscious cuisine.
Join Ariel Bojeun and Madeleine Smith for a special Fireside Chat on Sunday, June 1 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm at 560 Fremont Road (near the campus farm), where they will discuss the live music tour sustainability initiatives and explore how large events can minimize their environmental impact.
Ariel Bojeun is Live Nation’s first-ever Green Nation Tour Representative. With 12 years in the live concert industry, Ariel has toured across North and South America, the UK and Europe, Asia, and Australia, supporting artists such as Ariana Grande, Lizzo, and Queen.
Madeleine Smith is a senior director at Warner Music Group, where she helps to lead the Environmental, Social, and Governance group for the organization. Both Madeleine and Ariel have supported the MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative report on live music and climate change.
This event will bring together Sustainable Stanford affiliates and others passionate about how the music industry can serve as a platform for shaping global sustainability culture. Lunch from Pizza my Heart and cookies from Antoine’s will be served, with vegan and gluten free options available. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a meaningful conversation about greener live experiences!
