Stanford’s on-site milling program transforms fallen limbs into campus benches and student art–providing the campus community a sustainable alternative to imported lumber.
Celebrate Earth Day with the Aspen Neighborhood! The inaugural BIG SWAP premieres at this festival! Enjoy catered hors d’oeuvres and beverages, create your own flower bouquets and crowns, explore reusable merch, and experience live student performances. Educational displays will highlight ways to protect our environment, inspiring action and awareness. To support our goal of reducing waste, we encourage you to bring reusable plates, to-go containers, and water bottles. While we will provide limited compostable cups and containers, minimizing single-use items is a key focus of this program.
