During Alumni Weekend, the Explore Energy House hosted over 50 alumni for a vital discussion on Stanford’s Climate Action Plan. This gathering wasn’t just a reunion; it was a collaborative effort to shape the university’s approach to a sustainable future.
The alumni, driven by a sense of justice, emphasized the need for solutions that are not only effective but also interdisciplinary and replicable beyond Stanford. A key topic was the pursuit of reaching net-zero emissions in the most cost-effective manner, considering the broader community and campus neighbors.
