Julie Muir, whose passion about waste is infectious, has served the university for over 25 years, inspiring people and advancing solutions to reduce waste on campus. Stanford’s new waste contract ushers in additional team members to work on transforming our campus into a wasteless community.
The new team brings together expertise on waste systems, behavior change, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, auditing and inspecting, contamination monitoring, data analysis, zero waste education, strategic communications, and campus engagement—critical pieces of the puzzle to realize the university’s zero waste goals.
