The Water Planning & Stewardship team provided an opportunity for Stanford community members to get their hands dirty with a day of service at the unique Arizona Cactus Garden. This event was one of many planned programs for April’s Earth Month: Celebrating Sustainability at Stanford. As part of this event, the Water Planning & Stewardship team partnered with Grounds and took time to weed, prune, and rake with the help of additional volunteers. After a year with plentiful rainfall, many of the succulents and cacti had incredible blooms. Stay tuned for more opportunities to participate in hands-on stewardship of Stanford’s diverse landscapes, gardens, and environment!
