Stanford recently achieved the highest score of any school to date in the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), created by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS is the most comprehensive sustainability reporting framework for higher education, and Stanford’s Platinum-level score of 85.74% recognizes achievements across topics ranging from Campus as a Living Laboratory to Sustainable Dining and Affordability and Access.
