The 54th annual Earth Day at Stanford included a plethora of events throughout various departments on campus. Some notable additions to our Earth Month celebration events include screenings of environmental justice films like “Katrina Babies” on HBO, community engagement events like the Love Our Earth Festival, and volunteer cleanups. We also had the return of Earth Tones, one of the most anticipated sustainability events of the year. The Office of Sustainability hosted a celebration of Living Lab Partnerships for Sustainability that brought together students, staff, and faculty who partner to advance sustainability on campus. campus. In addition, a climate action forum brought community members together to weigh in on important climate impact topics.
From sustainable beats and food recovery leaps, the year 2025 set a new standard for Stanford traditions and operations.
