The university earns STARS Platinum in version 3.0, the highest score under the sustainability rating system.
The Electrical Reliability Improvements (ERI) project, part of Stanford’s Climate Action Plan, will increase the electrical reliability and capacity needed to reach the campus’s net-zero carbon reduction goal. The ERI project will upgrade equipment that distributes electricity to hundreds of campus buildings, and these improvements will enable Stanford to further electrify the campus for upgrades like more electric vehicle charging stations.
