Waste Service Changes Beginning 9/1/25

Beginning September 1, 2025, our building is joining the nearly 90% of buildings that have taken on the responsibility of sorting deskside waste at a shared waste station. 

Individuals can keep their deskside waste and/or recycling bins, but as of 9/1/25, will be responsible for sorting that material at a shared waste station. Shared waste stations will be serviced daily by custodians in lieu of individual deskside bins.

This change ensures our building is aligned with the campus waste requirements, strengthens operational efficiencies, and supports compliance with recycling and composting laws and the university’s waste reduction goal.
