Sustainable Transit Encouraged at New Redwood City Campus

Tuesday, August 20, 2019

Stanford’s Transportation program has expanded its services to the new Redwood City campus to help commuters adjust to their new commutes. The campus is bike friendly, with plenty of safety, repair, and commute resources. Beeline Bikes offers mobile bicycle repair services every month, and Stanford Transportation features regular classes, like urban bike skills. In addition to bike racks near all building entrances, there are three secure bike rooms available for employees. Other programs include the Commute Club, Clean Air Cash, Zipcar, and free carpool permits and vanpools. Staff are also encouraged to take advantage of public transportation and shuttles to campus, and can receive free a Caltrain Go Pass, SamTrans pass, and VTA SmartPass. Learn more here.
