Stanford Improves Diversion Rates during RecycleMania - Dive Deeper into Waste Composition at May 1 Audit

Stanford students, staff, and faculty took action against campus waste during the winter quarter, which resulted in a strong finish in RecycleMania, a national competition aimed at increasing recycling and composting, and reducing waste. At the end of the eight-week competition, Stanford improved its diversion rate from 64% to 67%, and placed 11 among 149 schools for reduced food waste. Learn More
