The Princeton Review has named Stanford University to its 2019 Guide to Green Colleges, a list of 413 colleges and universities selected from a group of nearly 700 by the education services company as the most environmentally friendly progressive schools in the nation. Many elements contributed to the scoring criteria, including a formal sustainability committee, sustainability-focused degrees available, a public greenhouse gas emissions inventory plan, local and organic food options, as well as sustainable transportation alternatives. This is the sixth consecutive year Stanford has been named to Princeton’s Top 50 Green Colleges. Learn More.
