Stanford has a new community made up of students, staff, and faculty who are interested in the broader topics of waste management across industries, sectors, functions, and geographies. The group provides an avenue for sharing research or passions, and connecting with others who are also focused on zero waste. The group is planning for bi-weekly presentations of classwork, research, or personal waste reduction projects; virtual tours of local facilities; and a Stanford Zero Waste Conference in Spring Quarter. This is a completely voluntary group of passionate waste warriors and does not have any required time commitment. You can sign up here to join or contact Caroline Ling, GSB MBA/MA 2021 for any questions. The group will meet again in January 2021.
