Stanford’s Cardinal Green Labs program has expanded Kimberly-Clark nitrile glove recycling to four more buildings over the last few months. Bass Biology, Beckman, Gilbert, and Lane buildings now all have a central collection bin. Labs that participate in the program collect their used gloves and drop them off in the central building bin. EH&S services the bins and ships the gloves to a recycler, which turns them into plastic pellets that are used to make patio furniture. Currently, 13 buildings and 56 labs are participating in the program. Learn More.
